Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn has expressed his delight with Luke Murphy after the midfielder got on the scoresheet once again in a 2-0 win at Reading.
The result was Leeds' third victory in four league outings, which has seen them ease their relegation fears to open up a five-point gap above the drop zone.Redfearn hailed the in-form Murphy, who now has three goals in his last five games, and believes he brings a different dimension to the United midfield.
The manager told leedsunited.com: "He’s playing out of his skin at the moment and Tuesday night was no exception.
“It was a great strike for the goal, but his all-round performance was good.
"He’s a great build for a midfielder – he’s a physical presence and wins headers and 50/50s.
"He’s got this range to his passing and he’s really starting to grow into what we’re doing.
"You can see that he’s enjoying himself."
