Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson is braced for a 'big week' of Sky Bet League 1 action, which sees his squad visit two of the division’s top three teams.
Posh travel to leaders Bristol City on Tuesday night before facing another promotion-chasing side in the shape of MK Dons on Saturday.Ferguson says it is important his side approach the games with confidence, and that he saw enough in last week's defeat to Gillingham to be positive.
"It is a big week, but one that we are looking forward to. Bristol City are a good side, they are not top of the league for no reason," he said.
“They play the 3-5-2 system very well, they are expansive and they have a lot of talent in their squad that we know all about.
"For us, it was important to go into this run of fixtures with a bit of momentum and we should really be talking about four wins from five because we should have beaten Gillingham on Tuesday evening.
"I think that we got done in the second half, it's funny because we went in 1-0 up at half-time and I don't think we were the better team in the first half. I thought we were the better team in the second half and ended up getting done on two counter-attacks."
