Wolves go into the game sitting 14th, unbeaten in four but they've shared the spoils in three of those matches. Forest are one place below in 15th but have tasted success in three of their last four outings.

Head-to-head

It's fair to say these two are familiar opponents, with this meeting set to be their 126th in all competitions.

Wolves lead the head-to-head record with 58 wins to Forest's 43, alongside 24 draws.

Interestingly, these two haven't shared the spoils since April 2003, so expect a winner under the lights at Molineux.

“We need to get going the right way”

Wolves got their first victory since October in their last game, beating Rotherham United 2-1, and boss Kenny Jackett believes more wins will soon follow.

“We're playing a lot of games in a short space of time and it can turn your season around," he told wolves.co.uk. "It's a big period for everyone and it is for us.

“If you get a high number of points then you can look into the New Year very optimistically, looking up the table rather than down.

“We need to get going the right way, stick to our footballing principles and at times physically we have to work very hard to make sure we don't get overpowered.”
