Final Third Development League - WestWrexham ran out 4-2 winners at Wigan Athletic in late November, defeating the 10-man Latics in a topsy-turvy affair.
Jordan Flores and Sam Cosgrove had the hosts 2-1 up after Wrexham's James Caton had opened the scoring, but goals from Iwan Cartwright, John Cofie and James Gray handed the Robins all three points.
The Welsh club were back in action this week, but went down 4-0 to Bradford City - Chris Routis, Dylan Mottley-Henry and two Luke James strikes giving the Bantams a comfortable victory.
On Wednesday, Port Vale and Shrewsbury Town shared the spoils, playing out a 2-2 draw.
Dominic Smith and Shaun Whalley had turned the game on its head after Jonathan Kapend's opener for the Valiants, but Dan Turner was on hand to rescue a point for the hosts.
Final Third Development League - South
This week's action began on Monday night, when AFC Wimbledon defeated Southend United 1-0 - the solitary strike coming from 18-year-old Egli Kaja.
Cambridge United got the better of Luton Town on Wednesday afternoon, fighting back to win 2-1 after going behind to a Zane Banton goal. The Hatters were boosted by a trio of players returning to fitness, including last season's Player of the Year, Nathan Doyle.
The scoreline was the same at Gillingham, who overcame Leyton Orient on Tuesday. Scott Kashket struck from the spot for the O's, but goals on either side saw the Kent club to victory.
Final Third Development Cup - South Group B
Aaron Collins was the star of the show, hitting all four goals as Newport County defeated Plymouth Argyle 4-3.
Louis Rooney, Tyler Harvey and Deane Smalley found the net for the Pilgrims, who were powerless to stop the Welsh youth international as the Exiles grabbed three points on the south coast.
