With Christmas just around the corner, The Football League and Sky Sports have delivered an early present for fans – a televised Football League fixture for 10 consecutive days, starting this Friday.
#10in10 gets under way with the Sky Bet Championship clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest at Molineux, with the sides at close quarters - 14th and 15th - in the table. The 10 days will see some intriguing storylines broadcast, such as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's second game in charge of Queens Park Rangers against Brighton & Hove Albion – the only unbeaten team in The Football League.
The table-topping Seagulls are being televised twice in the 10-day period, also hosting promotion rivals Middlesbrough on the penultimate day of action, in a match that could determine the lead of the Sky Bet Championship at Christmas.
As well as the array of Sky Bet Championship fixtures, there are also two Sky Bet League 1 fixtures being screened. Sheffield United host Coventry City on Sunday and Walsall take on Port Vale in the last #10in10 match on Sunday 20th December.
