Sky Sports have announced the two fixtures which will be screened live in Round 3 of the Capital One Cup.The cameras will be be at Villa Park when Midlands rivals Aston Villa and Birmingham City go head-to-head on Tuesday 22nd September, before going to White Hart Lane on Wednesday 23rd September for what should be a cracking North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, with both ties getting under way at 7:45pm.
Aston Villa were made to work hard for their place at this stage of the competition, eventually overcoming Sky Bet League 2 side Notts County 5-3 in extra time, while Birmingham continued their good start to 2015/16 with a 2-0 win over Gillingham to book their passage into Round 3.
The Blues defeated their rivals 2-1 in the 2010/11 competition when they went on to lift the Trophy, and they will be optimistic of causing an upset against Villa.

The following day's match-up in the capital will see Spurs and Arsenal get their Capital One Cup campaigns under way, with both clubs entering at Round 3 due to European commitments. There is always drama when these two lock horns, and next month's meeting should be no different.
