Sky Bet League 2: Weekend preview

21 August 2015

The games continue to come thick and fast in Sky Bet League 2 and this weekend sees all 24 teams in action at 3pm on Saturday.

Here's a look at what's coming up in Sky Bet League 2 this Saturday at 3pm:

Bristol Rovers v Barnet
Cambridge United v Crawley Town
Carlisle United v AFC Wimbledon
Exeter City v York City
Mansfield Town v Oxford United
Newport County v Leyton Orient
Northampton Town v Plymouth Argyle
Notts County v Accrington Stanley
Portsmouth v Morecambe
Stevenage v Hartlepool United
Wycombe Wanderers v Dagenham & Redbridge
Yeovil Town v Luton Town

Leyton Orient, Wycombe Wanderers and Hartlepool United all possess 100 per cent records at the summit of the division and face Newport County, Dagenham & Redbridge and Stevenage respectively.

Although Orient lead the way thanks to their superior goal difference ahead of their first ever clash against Newport, second-placed Wycombe are yet to concede a goal, following clean sheet victories over York City, Barnet and Morecambe.

Ronnie Moore's Pools may hold a perfect record this season but they've failed to get the better of their weekend opponents Stevenage in their seven previous meetings.

Teddy Sheringham is searching for his first victory as Stevenage manager, and history is certainly in his side's favour.

Dagenham and Yeovil Town remain without a single point at the foot of the table and, while the Daggers visit Wycombe, Yeovil are at home to Luton Town.

Bristol Rovers got the better of the Hatters in midweek thanks to last-gasp Stuart Sinclair goal, and the Gas go up against the side who they won promotion alongside last term, Barnet.

Elsewhere, Cambridge United will be in search of their first victory against Crawley Town since September 2007, while Mansfield Town go up against Oxford United – the two teams have never played out a goalless draw in 34 meetings since their first clash in 1962.
