Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 4 review

22 August 2015

Leyton Orient moved clear at the top of Sky Bet League 2 after a fourth straight victory, while Portsmouth and Wycombe Wanderers preserved unbeaten starts to the season.

Orient looked on for a comfortable win at Newport County when racing into a two-goal lead, but they were pegged back to 2-2 by the Exiles. However, Dean Cox grabbed the winner to keep the O's at the summit.

Portsmouth came from 3-0 down to grab a last-gasp point at home to Morecambe, completing the comeback with only 10 men after Enda Stevens was dismissed. Wycombe also sneaked a late draw against Dagenham & Redbridge, courtesy of an Aaron Pierre goal.

That was the first point of the campaign for the Daggers, and Yeovil Town also got off the mark with three memorable points – they came from 2-0 down to defeat Luton Town at Huish Park.
