15 August 2015

Carlisle United and Cambridge United served up the game of the on Saturday in The Football League, as the two sides played out an eight-goal thriller at Brunton Park.

Cambridge were in front three times during the match, but couldn't put the Cumbrians to bed, and the hosts were rewarded for their persistence when Jabo Ibehre sealed a hat-trick to make it 4-4.

Barnet were beaten in their first Football League game at The Hive, as Wycombe Wanderers tore up the script and recorded a 2-0 win courtesy of a Garry Thompson brace.

The Chairboys moved top of Sky Bet League 2 as a result, and they head a pack of five teams with 100 per cent records, as Leyton Orient, Portsmouth, Northampton Town and Hartlepool United all picked up wins for a second successive week.
