Walsall have hit form in the early stages of the Sky Bet League 1 season and visit an out-of-form Blackpool in Matchday 5.The Saddlers' game at Bloomfield Road is one of 11 Sky Bet League 1 matches kicking-off at 3pm on Saturday, with Coventry City and Southend United locking horns on Bank Holiday Monday.

Dean Smith's Walsall are one of five teams yet to lose in Sky Bet League 1 in 2015/16 and they have picked up five successive victories in all competitions, seeing off Southend United, Rochdale and Coventry City in the league, and Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion in the Capital One Cup.

Their weekend opponents Blackpool prop up the League 1 standings and have lost their most recent three outings, to Rochdale, Burton Albion and Sheffield United, following an opening-day draw at Colchester United.

Gillingham are the League 1 table-toppers owing to their superior goal difference over the Saddlers – Justin Edinburgh's side visit Peterborough United on Saturday.
Swindon Town are another undefeated side so far, with two wins and two draws, and they have a reunion with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, following their thrilling Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off semi-final encounter last term.

Port Vale and Oldham Athletic are the two other teams yet to taste defeat this season and they both face teams who are yet to win, in Bradford City and Bury respectively.
The Sky Bet League 1 action is wrapped up on Monday night when Tony Mowbray's Coventry host Phil Brown's Southend. The Sky Blues had notched three wins on the spin prior to last week's defeat to Walsall, while Southend are awaiting their first three-point haul following their return to the division.
