Sky Bet League 1 gets under way on Saturday, with all 24 teams kicking off their campaigns at 3pm.
It will give fans the long-awaited chance to see their sides in action again, as competitive football commences for the next nine months.Match Round 1 fixtures

Last season’s Sky Bet League 2 champions Burton Albion will host Scunthorpe United, with both teams having been particularly active in the transfer window over the summer. The two sides have made a combined 21 additions, and supporters will be eager to see what the new arrivals can bring.
Shrewsbury Town joined the Brewers in earning promotion from the fourth tier last term, and they will meet Millwall in their first game in the division. The Lions were plying their trade two divisions above Micky Mellon’s side in 2014/15, but they will clash as equals this weekend.

Also promoted from League 2 last season were Bury, and they face a trip to Doncaster Rovers, while Play-Off Final winners Southend United visit Fleetwood Town.

Last campaign’s relegated Championship clubs Wigan Athletic and Blackpool are both on the road on opening day, with the former playing Coventry City and the latter taking on Colchester United, in what will be Neil McDonald’s first game in charge of the Tangerines.
Elsewhere, Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale meet in a local derby match at Alexandra Stadium. Last season the Valiants were defeated in both fixtures between the sides, something manager Rob Page will be looking to put right in his first full season at the helm.
Dugout debuts
Blackpool’s McDonald is not the only boss looking taking charge in the dugout for the first time this weekend.
Darren Kelly takes his Oldham Athletic side to Walsall, as he looks to get his managerial career off to the perfect start. Dean Saunders will also be in charge of Chesterfield for the first time, overseeing the visit of Barnsley.
