Beram Kayal's strike after just 17 seconds was also the fastest in the Sky Bet Championship for 15 months, since David Goodwillie netted inside 15 seconds for Blackpool against Derby County in 2014.

17 - Beram Kayal's goal (17 seconds) was the quickest in the Championship since April 2014 (Goodwillie v Derby, 15 seconds). Rapid.

The last time the Seagulls scored in less time than it took Kayal against the Terriers was in August 2004, when Maheta Molango opened the scoring in a Championship clash against Reading.

Chris Hughton’s men have scored the opening goal each of their three league fixtures so far this campaign, but their 100 per cent start was brought to an end in midweek after Jacob Butterfield earned Huddersfield a point.
