10 April 2015

A look at the managers and players who scooped The Football League's monthly awards in March.

In the Sky Bet Championship, Eddie Howe won the Manager of the Month after guiding Bournemouth back to the top of the division, with 13 points collected from five matches. The Championship Player of the Month went to Watford striker Troy Deeney, who bagged five goals in five outings.

It was double delight for Bristol City in Sky Bet League 1 with boss Steve Cotterill and defender Aden Flint winning the awards. The Robins were Johnstone's Paint Trophy winners in March and also edged closer to promotion by notching 14 points from six league outings.

Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth won the award for the top boss in Sky Bet League 2, after guiding the Chairboys to an unbeaten month, which included matches against fellow promotion rivals Southend United, Shrewsbury Town and Luton Town.

Bobby Grant won League 2's Player of the Month award, meanwhile. He found the net five times in March, including two fine efforts against Portsmouth.
