Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill has been named the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month for March.Another hectic month saw Cotterill lead City to silverware at Wembley while not skipping a beat in their Sky Bet League 1 promotion charge.
They collected 14 points from six games, scoring at least two goals in five of their six outings.
George Burley, who chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel, said: “Bristol City have shown great consistency, keeping themselves in pole position to win the Sky Bet League 1 title.”
Sky Sports’ Football League pundit Don Goodman said: “From day one, Bristol City have been a class above in League 1 this season.
“Steve Cotterill’s calm influence has led his side to the brink of promotion and I fully expect them to lift the Sky Bet League 1 trophy in the coming weeks.”
Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery said: “Bristol City’s relentless run towards the Championship continues.
“They found the net 13 times in the month, adding goals to their solid defence.”
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Manager of the Month is chaired by former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, along with Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
