Preston boss Simon Grayson has called for one last push from his side after Joe Garner's hat-trick helped them to a vital 3-0 win against Swindon Town in Sky Bet League 1.
Victory leaves Grayson's side one win away from promotion to the Sky Bet Championship, but with Milton Keynes Dons keeping pace just behind them, their passage is not yet secured.Garner struck twice before the break and had completed his treble only six minutes into the second half as the Robins never really matched their opponents at Deepdale.
The final round of the season sees Preston travel to Colchester and boss Grayson is confident his side can get the job done.
"We've said for the last three or four games now that our destiny is in our own hands," he said.
"For us it now boils down to a one game situation next weekend, but what we've done is testament to the players.
"At this stage of the season to be 18 games unbeaten, giving ourselves a chance of promotion is fantastic and we are focused and determined to do that.
"We've kept another clean sheet, so overall it’s a fantastic individual performance from Joe [Garner], but obviously the team ethic is the most important thing.
"We work hard as a team to stop the opposition from playing.
"Next weekend we want another clean sheet and a couple of goals from somebody and we've done our job."
