Millwall boss Neil Harris remained optimistic about his side's chances of escaping relegation from the Sky Bet Championship after a 0-0 draw at Cardiff City. The south Wales stalemate moved the Lions to within four points of Rotherham and safety, but interim manager Harris could easily have been celebrating a win as his side squandered some golden chances.
Defender Mark Beevers struck the bar after beating Cardiff keeper David Marshall, while Gary Taylor-Fletcher trod on Ricardo Fuller's pull-back with the goal at his mercy during the dying moments.
Harris remains confident his men have what it takes to avoid the drop.
"Gary is disappointed with that chance and not scoring, as are a few of the other boys. We had a few good chance to score today," said former striker Harris.
"But the pleasing thing is we are getting those chances. Ricardo and Gary did well coming on, they were a positive change and had we got one we might have had two or three.
"The teams above us are looking over their shoulders, it may not have been the best of games but we are showing we have got what it takes to win football games and it means the sides above us know they need to pick up wins."
