We pick out 11 top performers and a manager from the week's Sky Bet Football League matches
Goalkeeper: Keiren Westwood (Sheffield Wednesday)The former Sunderland stopper was on top form this week, keeping clean sheets against both Birmingham and Reading, as the Owls picked up six points. He saved a Glenn Murray penalty on Saturday.
Defender: Giuseppe Bellusci (Leeds United)
Leeds secured six points from their two games this week and Bellusci played a significant role in both. His most notable contribution was a phenomenal free-kick against Bournemouth on Tuesday. He also hit the bar against Huddersfield on Saturday after a marauding run, which paved the way for Mirco Antenucci to score.
Defender: Rob Atkinson (Accrington Stanley)
Although he was part of a defence to concede four on Saturday against Northampton, the 27-year-old got on the scoresheet twice - his first goals since January 2012 - to help Stanley to a 5-4 success.
Defender: Ashley Eastham (Rochdale)
Eastham was integral in a Dale defence that didn't concede a goal in either of their two games this week, against Walsall and Coventry City. That gave them the platform to collect maximum points and Eastham scored his first goal for the club against the Saddlers.
Midfielder: Jack Payne (Southend United)
The 19-year-old was instrumental in the Blues' 3-2 win at York City on Saturday. He was fouled in the box for Southend's opener, before securing the points with a goal in the 78th minute.
Midfielder: Louis Thompson (Swindon Town)
Thompson put in an eye-catching performance in the Robins' 5-2 triumph against Sheffield United at the weekend. The 19-year-old Norwich loanee set Michael Smith up in the first half before scoring a powerful effort late on to wrap up the three points.
Midfielder: Dele Alli (Milton Keynes Dons)
The Football League's Young Player of the Month for August was in fine form on Saturday, scoring a hat-trick for the Dons in their 6-1 mauling of Crewe Alexandra - a result that moved them into the top two in Sky Bet League 1.
Midfielder: Kaid Mohamed (Northampton Town)
Mohamed was kept relatively quiet against Accrington on Saturday but it was his performance against Hartlepool in midweek that has secured his place in the week's best XI. The winger netted two of the Cobblers' five goals against Pools and caused the opposition problems throughout.
Striker: Adebayo Akinfenwa (AFC Wimbledon)
The big man was without a goal to his name in 2014/15 until this week when he scored a brace against Burton Albion before heading the Dons' winner at home to Morecambe on Saturday.
Striker: Cameron Jerome (Norwich City)
Norwich picked up four points in the week, scoring five goals, and Jerome netted four of them. He bagged two at Brentford on Tuesday before another two against his former employers Birmingham City on Saturday.
Striker: Eoin Doyle (Chesterfield)
What a start to the season it has been for Eoin Doyle. He scored four goals in the Spireites' two games this week. His hat-trick against Preston on Tuesday was his second successive treble. He found the net again at Doncaster on Saturday but couldn't prevent his side losing 3-2.
Manager: David Flitcroft (Bury)
Three wins on the trot have lifted the Shakers to the top of Sky Bet League 2 and extended their undefeated run to eight. They moved up to the summit by beating previous leaders Burton Albion 3-1 on Saturday.
