Hartlepool United have agreed with Middlesbrough to extend midfielder Ryan Brobbel's loan spell for a further month.
The 21-year-old winger has made seven appearances for Pools since arriving on loan in early August.
Hartlepool-born Brobbel, a Northern Ireland Under-21 international, made his debut in the 1-0 defeat at Stevenage on the opening day of the season.
He will remain with Pools until after the Sky Bet League 2 fixture at Exeter on Saturday, 11 October.
Brobbel, who progressed through Middlesbrough's academy, had two separate loan spells at York City last season.
