Nottingham Forest fans wear green jumpers in tribute to former manager Brian Clough

Iconic item of clothing was a familiar sight on the touchline at the City Ground during Clough's reign

Nottingham Forest fans wore green jumpers in the stands at White Hart Line last night in tribute to former manager Brian Clough.

The legendary Forest boss - who led the East Midlands side to back-to-back European Cup triumphs during his time in the City Ground dugout - died a decade ago.

Nottingham-based credit card company Capital One handed out 1,000 of the green jumpers ahead of the club's Capital One Cup tie at Tottenham Hotspur to allow the travelling fans to pay a colourful tribute to Clough's memory.
