Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has joined Middlesbrough on loan until January 17.
The England Under-19 international completed a trio of a deadline day arrivals for Boro, following in the footsteps of Belgian international Jelle Vossen and Dutch winger Yanic Wildschut.
The 20-year-old, who has toured with the Stamford Bridge senior squad, is an FA Youth Cup winner and was a regular in the club's under-21 side last season.
Boro moved for Blackman after allowing fellow keeper Jason Steele to join Blackburn on a season-long loan.
"I said if he has a good choice to go then for me it wasn't a problem," said boss Aitor Karanka.
"I told him one or two months ago if he had another choice he could go. He knows that he is not my first choice or my second choice."
Meanwhile Seb Hines has joined Coventry on loan until January 4.
