Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth said he would not be getting carried away after his side's superb start to the season.
The Chairboys, who only avoided dropping out of The Football League with a win on the final day of last season, moved to the top of Sky Bet League 2 with a 3-1 victory over Morecambe.Ainsworth said: "We are a small squad and are doing really well but at the moment we have just moved a step closer to the number of points we need to make sure we avoid the drama of last season.
"I know people want me to say more and I certainly don't want to ever go through what I went through last year again but we are just going to keep going about our business steadily and set our sights on our next game at AFC Wimbledon.
"Morecambe are a good side but I thought we were fantastic. We scored two outstanding goals showed outstanding determination and commitment and it was an outstanding win that takes us a step closer to where we want to be."
