Shrewsbury Town have boosted their attacking options with the capture of Blackpool striker Bobby Grant on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old has had limited opportunities since joining the Seasiders in July 2013, but previously enjoyed successful spells at Rochdale, Scunthorpe and Accrington."For myself, it's about getting out there and playing," said Grant on his new club's website. "I spoke to Micky Mellon and everything sounded good.
"I can score goals at this level, I've proved that throughout my career. It was about coming down, enjoying my football and playing for a team in this league which, I think, should be right up there. I can't wait to get started now."
Shrewsbury are currently in mid-table but only three points off the League Two play-off places.
"I am delighted to have Bobby on board, it gives us another good attacking option," added manager Mellon.
"He's got an eye for goal which he has shown over his career, and he knows where the net is. I look forward to working with Bobby over the next month and hope it will prove fruitful for both of us."
