Rotherham United's on-loan striker Luciano Becchio has been ruled out for the rest of the year after breaking his ankle.
The 30-year-old Argentinian, who joined the Millers from Norwich City on transfer deadline day last month, has confirmed on his Twitter account that he will be sidelined for three months."I want to say that I've broken my ankle and I'll be out around 3 months but I'll be back more strong..." Becchio announced.
Becchio was ineligible for the Millers' last league game against parent club Norwich but was hoping to return to the side against former club Leeds at New York Stadium on Friday.
He has scored two goals in six appearances for Rotherham since joining on loan until January.
