Leeds United part company with Darko Milanic

25 October 2014

Leeds United have parted company with manager Darko Milanic just 32 days after appointing the Slovenian at Elland Road.

Milanic failed to record a victory during his tenure at Leeds, with the latest poor result coming in a 2-1 home loss at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

The 46-year-old led the club to three draws and three defeats in his six games in charge, with Leeds confirming his departure on their official Twitter account.

The statement read: “Leeds United can confirm that Darko Milanic has parted company with the club,”

"Neil Redfearn will take charge of first team training on Monday morning."

Academy manager Redfearn was unbeaten as caretaker boss prior to the arrival of Milanic last month.
