Clubs offering great value tickets for next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy

27 October 2014

Fans can enjoy football for as little as £1 during the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy area quarter-finals next month as clubs slash ticket prices for the floodlit matches.

Crawley Town, Leyton Orient and Walsall are offering entry for kids for a quid as they continue on the road to the Trophy final at Wembley in the spring. Doncaster Rovers are welcoming kids for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Adult tickets at area quarter-final ties have also been cut, with some tickets on offer for as little as £5. All of which means a family night out at the football need not break the bank.

The news of great value tickets for the next round of the competition comes on the heels of the BBC's annual Price of Football report, which once again highlighted the affordability of watching clubs in The Football League. Figures show the average lowest season ticket prices at Football League clubs have fallen since before the BBC began the Price of Football survey in 2011.
