Doncaster Rovers have signed experienced defender Andy Butler on loan from Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.
Butler, born in Doncaster, will go straight into the Rovers squad for this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 fixture against MK Dons at the Keepmoat Stadium.The 30-year-old joined the Blades in the summer on a free transfer from Walsall but has had a loan spell back at his former club already this season and was part of the Saddlers side that defeated Doncaster 3-0 in September.
Butler will be able to play for Paul Dickov's team in the FA Cup, unless Rovers are drawn against Sheffield United.
