Weekend in numbers

We take a look at the numbers that make up the weekend's Sky Bet Football League action.

1 - Derby County inflicted a first home defeat of the season on Watford to move clear at the summit of the Sky Bet Championship. The Rams have now lost only twice in 18 games in all competitions.

1 - Bristol City's unbeaten home record was ended by Preston, who won 1-0 at Ashton Gate. That was the Lilywhites' first victory at Bristol City since May 2000.

2 - Jordan Clarke scored two headers for Yeovil Town as they came from a goal down to beat Notts County 2-1.

2 - Accrington Stanley's Piero Mingoia netted twice in a league game for the first time, in a 2-1 victory against Cambridge United.

3 – After previously going unbeaten in nine, Watford have now lost three in a row.

3 - Southend tabled their third consecutive win to move within three points of the automatic promotion places in Sky Bet League 2.

4 - Brentford beat Fulham 2-1 for their fourth victory on the spin in the Sky Bet Championship - the first time they have achieved that feat in the second tier since 1953. The win was the Bees' first against their West London rivals since 1992.  

4 - Bradford's four-game run of 2-1 scorelines was ended as they drew 1-1 with Gillingham.

4 - Bury and Newport played out two goalless draws last term, in their first two competitive meetings, but their clash on Saturday featured four goals with Justin Edinburgh's County triumphing 3-1.

5 - Lee Clark handed home debuts to five Blackpool players at the weekend, and they picked up a point against Bolton Wanderers.

6 - Wycombe have now won six games on the road this term, which is more than any other League club.

6 - Sky Bet League 1's top scorer Eoin Doyle ended a run of six goalless games by bagging a brace for Chesterfield against Barnsley.

8 - AFC Wimbledon ended a run of eight straight defeats against Oxford by battling out a 0-0 draw at the Kassam Stadium.

8 - After their goalless draw against Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday have now found the net just twice over their last eight games.

9 - Leyton Orient overcame Crewe Alexandra 4-1 to record their first home league win of the season, at the ninth attempt.

11 - Burton Albion ended Luton Town's 11-game unbeaten run by overcoming the Hatters 1-0 at the Pirelli Stadium.

15 - Fleetwood were undefeated in 15 home league matches before suffering a 1-0 reverse at Highbury to Walsall.

16 – Wycombe's Paris Cowan-Hall ended a run of 16 games in all competitions without scoring by finding the net at Cheltenham. The winger's most recent goal before that came on the opening day of the season.

25 - Nottingham Forest scored three times in the final 25 minutes of their match against Wolves to record a 3-0 success.

29 - Coventry City won on the road for the first time since 29th March, taking three points at Colchester.

39 - Birmingham City have kept three clean sheets in four games under Gary Rowett. It took the Blues 39 outings to notch three clean sheets prior to that.

50 - Exeter City came from behind to beat Shrewsbury Town 3-2 in what was the 50th competitive meeting between the two clubs.

100 - Cardiff continued their 100 per cent home record under Russell Slade by seeing off Reading 2-1 on Friday night.

200 - Russell Martin celebrated his 200th Norwich appearance by netting a thunderbolt against Brighton & Hove Albion.

1996 - Charlton have still not beaten Millwall since 1996, following a goalless draw at The Valley. The Addicks haven't scored against their rivals since December 2009.

1998 - Doncaster Rovers continued their good run against Rochdale by triumphing 3-1 at Spotland. Rovers haven't lost to Dale since March 1998.

26,379 – The thrilling 3-3 draw between Norwich and Brighton attracted the biggest crowd in The Football League at the weekend, with over 26,000 supporters inside Carrow Road.
