Weekend in numbers

10 November 2014

We take a look at the numbers that make up the weekend's Sky Bet Football League action.

2 - Watford, Wolves, Norwich, Huddersfield and Wigan have now suffered back-to-back Championship defeats after weekend losses.

5 - Wolves lost by more than two goals for the first time under manager Kenny Jackett, going down 5-0 to Derby County.

6 – Fulham are now six unbeaten after a 3-1 victory against Huddersfield Town. They are also undefeated in six against the Terriers, stretching back to September 1993.

6 - Bournemouth's six-match winning run was ended by Middlesbrough, in a goalless draw. The result took their undefeated stretch to seven games, though.

8 - Leeds beat Blackpool 3-1 for a first victory in eight outings.

9 - Sheffield Wednesday are winless in nine after a goalless stalemate with Rotherham. That was the sixth draw of that run.

9 - Cardiff and Blackpool both remain without an away league victory in 2014/15, after drawing 0-0 at Birmingham and losing 3-1 at Leeds respectively.

10 – Nottingham Forest notched their first victory in 10 matches by overcoming Norwich 2-1.

12 - Millwall have only won once in 12, after previously tabling 10 points from their opening five games.

29 - The ball hit the back of the net 29 times over the 12 Sky Bet Championship matches at the weekend.

33 - After overcoming Wolves 5-0, Derby are now joint-top scorers in the Sky Bet Championship alongside Bournemouth, with 33 goals over their 17 games.

55 - There was an unlikely goalscorer at The Den, where Millwall's Alan Dunne found the net for the first time in 55 appearances. That was the defender's second league goal since March 2010.

1981 - Charlton Athletic won at Reading for the first time since 1981, with Igor Vetokele scoring the only goal of the game.

1998 – Brentford registered their first victory against Millwall since 1998 - eight meetings ago - triumphing 3-2 at The Den.

30,398 - Derby's home match with Wolves pulled in the biggest crowd of the weekend in The Football League with over 30,000 at the iPro Stadium for their 5-0 triumph.
