Micky Mellon (Shrewsbury Town)
Ignored cup distractions and demonstrated his clever man-management skills to lead the Shrews to an impressive four wins out of five in the month, including a breathtaking 5-0 home victory over promotion rivals Bury.
John Sheridan (Plymouth Argyle)
Oversaw a perfect defensive month in which Argyle kept five clean sheets in as many games, garnering 13 points from 15 in the process.
John Still (Luton Town)
Under Still’s guidance Luton extended their winning streak to seven games, adding five in October, to move top of Sky Bet League 2. His passion and commitment have brought exciting times and crowds of over 10,000 back to Kenilworth Road.
The winners will be announced on Friday.
