We pick out 11 top performers and a manager from the week's Sky Bet Football League matches.
Goalkeeper: Thorsten Stuckmann (Preston North End)Stuckmann had to be patient for his first league start of the season but he performed well when he was given his chance on Saturday, keeping a clean sheet at Bristol City as Preston ended the leaders' undefeated home record with a 1-0 win.
Defender: Jordan Clarke (Yeovil Town)
Yeovil were 1-0 down heading into the closing stages at Notts County before defender Clarke scored two headers to give them a 2-1 victory and all three points.
Defender: Alan Dunne (Millwall)
One-club man Dunne played a key role in a hard-working Millwall defence that kept Charlton at bay on Saturday at The Valley. He made a vital clearance off the line in the game and was praised by manager Ian Holloway.
Defender: Keith Lowe (York City)
Like Clarke, York's Keith Lowe was also at the double on Saturday to earn three points for his side. The Minstermen were 1-0 down at Hartlepool before Lowe scored twice in three second-half minutes, and Jake Hyde then sealed the 3-1 success.
Midfielder: Henri Lansbury (Nottingham Forest)
Forest were 3-0 winners at Wolves and Lansbury was pivotal in the middle of the park for Stuart Pearce's side. He wrapped up the comfortable win seven minutes from time with a neat finish. Pearce praised his team after the game.
Midfielder: Jed Wallace (Portsmouth)
Portsmouth recovered from their midweek FA Cup exit to Aldershot by seeing off Morecambe 3-0 in Sky Bet League 2, and 20-year-old Wallace was the main man after he netted twice in the second half.
Midfielder: Ashley Chambers (Dagenham & Redbridge)
Dagenham were also comfortable victors in Sky Bet League 2, overcoming Carlisle 4-2, and winger Chambers hit a brace for Wayne Burnett's men in what was a fine display from the 24-year-old.
Midfielder: Piero Mingoia (Accrington Stanley)
Another player on the scoresheet twice in League 2 was Accrington's Mingoia, who scored two goals in a game for the first time in his career. His double was enough for Stanley to pick up a 2-1 success against Cambridge United.
Striker: Chris Dagnall (Leyton Orient)
Leyton Orient finally have their first home win of the campaign, beating Crewe Alexandra 4-1 on Saturday, and Dagnall was influential in the victory. The forward set-up two goals and also notched one himself with a low drive on the spin.
Striker: Eoin Doyle (Chesterfield)
After six matches without finding the net, Sky Bet League 1's top scorer was back in the goals on Saturday when the Spireites saw off Barnsley 2-1. Doyle perfectly lobbed Barnsley stopper Ross Turnbull for his opener, before scoring a low, right-footed effort for his second.
Striker: Aaron O'Connor (Newport County)
O'Connor took home the match ball from Newport County's meeting with Bury after scoring a hat-trick to earn the Exiles three points in a 3-1 victory. The striker put County ahead in the opening few minutes and scored another before the break, then completed his hat-trick in the closing stages.
Manager: Gary Rowett (Birmingham City)
Birmingham moved out of the bottom three with a 1-0 victory at Rotherham United and, with that result, they remain unbeaten since the appointment of Rowett. The former Burton boss took over after the Blues had lost 8-0 to Bournemouth but, in the four games since his arrival, they have kept three clean sheets.
