Mark Robson leaves Norwich City

10 November 2014

First-team coach Mark Robson has had his contract at Norwich City terminated with immediate effect.

Robson joined the backroom team in the summer after Neil Adams was handed the managerial role on a permanent basis.

He arrived at Carrow Road in November 2013 as Senior Professional Development Coach and looked after the Under-21 squad.

After a playing career including spells with Charlton, Tottenham, West Ham and Notts County, Robson was appointed Barnet boss before moving to the Football Association and working with England's Under-17 set-up.

He has also coached at Peterborough and Gillingham as well as the Charlton academy under Alan Curbishley.

A statement on the club's official website read: "City  can confirm first team coach Mark Robson's contract has been terminated with immediate effect.

"The club would like to thank Mark for his work on behalf of Norwich City and wish him well for the future.

"First team coach Gary Holt will continue to assist manager Neil Adams and there will be no further comment from the club at this time."
