The football family has remembered the sacrifice made by those killed in war by coming together in acts of remembrance in the weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
Solemn ceremonies have been held at Football League clubs across the land in the year we commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. Football's role in that conflict is being marked this year by the Football Remembers campaign, which is supported by The Football League.General
