Walsall forward Romaine Sawyers has signed a new two-year deal that will tie him to the club until the summer of 2016.
The 22-year-old joined the Saddlers from West Brom last summer after a successful loan spell and has impressed during his first full season at the Banks's Stadium, scoring seven goals in 48 appearances.
"It's been an extremely productive season for Romaine," Walsall manager Dean Smith told the club's official website.
"I believe that he is a player with a lot of potential who has a big role to play in the future of this club.
"This has been his first full season in senior football and he has certainly showed enough to warrant this new deal.
"It's been a long, hard season for him and he has made good progress. I expect him to continue going from strength to strength and I am delighted that he has signed this new deal."
