Torquay United have announced that defender Kevin Nicholson will not be offered a new deal by the recently relegated side.
The 33-year-old has played over 300 times for the Gulls since moving to Plainmoor from Forest Green Rovers in 2007.
Boss Chris Hargreaves told the club's official website: "It was a really tough decision because I respect him as a person and a player.
"He has been a magnificent servant to this football club and a lot of people will be sorry to see Kev go.
"I just want to wish him all the best in his future."
