Hartlepool United defender Jordan Richards has committed his future to the Sky Bet League 2 side.
Pools had the option to keep the academy graduate at Victoria Park for one more season but have instead decided to offer the 21-year-old a longer deal.
Richards, who has played 21 times in all competitions for the club this campaign, is thrilled to put pen to paper on a new contract.
He told the club's official website: " I am absolutely delighted with the new deal and to be here next season.
"I couldn't wait to sign the contract and get it all sorted out so now I just want to work as hard as I can, keep enjoying it and play more games for the club."
