Derby County plan to explore the possibility of signing Andre Wisdom, George Thorne and Patrick Bamford on permanent deals.
The on-loan trio have made big contributions to what has been a successful Sky Bet Championship campaign for the Rams, who going into the final game of the season against Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday are guaranteed to finish third in the table.
Right-back Wisdom has made 34 consecutive starts since joining from Liverpool in October. Thorne, from West Brom, has impressed in his nine games after replacing John Eustace in the centre of midfield, while Chelsea striker Bamford's eight goals in 20 matches have earned some vital points for Derby.
The futures of all three players will depend on whether their parent clubs see them as part of their plans for next season.
Ahead of the trip to Leeds, Rams' first-team coach Paul Simpson said: " We know what we want, it is a case of seeing what the parent clubs want to do with their players.
"These are all discussions that we need to have over the coming weeks.
"I think they (the players) have shown they can fit into our group, fit into Derby County. And as a football club, we have shown we can look after them properly and will try and teach them the way Steve McClaren wants to play."
Derby also have Zak Whitbread on loan from Leicester. The 30-year-old defender made three starts when he signed in October before suffering an injury and he has not featured since being an unused substitute against Huddersfield on Boxing Day.
