Chesterfield have won the Sky Bet League 2 title after winning 2-1 at home to Fleetwood Town.
The Spireites led the division going into the final round of matches on Saturday, knowing that their superior goal difference would see them crowned champions with a win, regardless of results involving Rochdale and Scunthorpe United.
Having secured automatic promotion last Sunday, denying Fleetwood's hopes of a top-three finish, Paul Cook's side netted through Sam Hird and Gary Roberts after Matty Blair's opener for Fleetwood to confirm top spot.
Chesterfield - who were runners-up in this season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy competition - will compete in League 1 for the 2014/15 season, a division from which they were relegated in 2012.
