Guy Branston leaves Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth Argyle have agreed a deal to allow Guy Branston to leave Home Park.

The 35-year-old centre-back is suffering from an ankle injury which has effectively ended his season and with after manager John Sheridan told the former Rotherham United man that he will not be offered another deal Branston decided to depart the Sky Bet League 2 side.

He departs having made 32 appearances during his second spell with the Pilgrims.

"Everyone at Argyle thanks Brano for his contribution to the Green cause and wishes him well for the remainder of his career," a club statement said.
