Much-travelled striker Robert Earnshaw has signed a deal with Sky Bet Championship side Blackpool until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old has played for the likes of Cardiff, West Brom, Norwich and Nottingham Forest in this country and is a free agent having left MLS team Toronto recently.
Earnshaw, who has played over 50 times for Wales, is unavailable for the Seasiders' clash with Huddersfield on Saturday due to international clearance but could feature in the derby against Bolton on Tuesday night.
"This is a great opportunity for me to play some games and give the fans something to cheer about before the end of the season," Earnshaw told the club's official website.
"Mentally I feel really fresh because I've been dying to go, so signing here is going to be exciting.
"I'm hoping I can come here and give the fans some goals and somersaults, give them what I've given to every other team."
Caretaker boss Barry Ferguson has been on the lookout for a new centre forward following the news that Steve Davies may miss the rest of the season with a groin problem.
