Ipswich Town have signed winger Alex Henshall on a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old spent the final six weeks of last season on loan from Manchester City and after being released by the Barclays Premier League champions he has put pen to paper on a contract at Portman Road.
Henshall joined City in 2010 at the age of 16 and spent loan spells with Chesterfield, Bristol Rovers and then Mick McCarthy's side.
