Tranmere Rovers have made a fifth summer signing in defender Marcus Holness.
Holness arrives at Prenton Park on a free transfer after leaving Burton and the 25-year-old has signed a two-year deal.
Manager Rob Edwards told the club's website: "Marcus is a strong, quick defender who will fit in well here.
"He's good in the air, fast and is a player I've been impressed by every time I've seen him."
Holness made 53 appearances in two years with Burton and previously played for Barrow, Rochdale and Oldham.
Edwards added: "He's got plenty of experience with Rochdale and Burton Albion in League Two and he's a player who will give his all for the club."
The arrival of Holness comes a day after the club confirmed the signing of former Rotherham forward Kayode Odejayi on a one-year deal.
