Shrewsbury have signed Oldham Athletic captain James Wesolowski.
The Australian midfielder, voted the Latics' player of the season, has penned a two-year deal with the option for another year and moves on a free transfer having turned down a new deal at Oldham.
"It was a very tough decision to leave Oldham and I have really enjoyed my time there," he told the Shrews' official website.
"When I went to see Micky Mellon and he spoke of his plans for the future of the club it was exciting.
"It's a great opportunity for me and a pretty easy decision to make as I'm looking to help Shrewsbury Town get back in League One."
