Milton Keynes Dons' new signing Kyle McFadzean said the club should at least be in the Sky Bet Championship.
The 27-year-old centre-back, signed from Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee, became the Dons' third summer signing on Friday when he signed a two-year deal.
"I just can't wait to get started," McFadzean told Dons' official website.
"You just need to walk around the place to see it should be a Championship, if not a Premier League club. Even the first time I played here I thought 'what a stadium!'
"It's a bit closer to home for me, as well, which is important because I'm a family person. My family will get to see more of my matches. "
McFadzean, who progressed through the academy at hometown club Sheffield United, had spent the last four seasons at Crawley.
