Barnsley have signed striker Kane Hemmings on a one-year contract.
The 23-year-old scored 24 goals in 39 appearances for Scottish Championship side Cowdenbeath last season having spent the previous five years at Rangers.
Hemmings, who had signed a one-year deal with Cowdenbeath, told the club's official website: "On the back of a good season I think this is a very good move for me.
"I want to hit the ground running, do well and continue what I did last season and score goals.
"I like think I play well with another striker, I'm quick and can get behind defenders.
Hemminds is Reds boss Danny Wilson's second summer signing following the arrival of goalkeeper Adam Davies from Sheffield Wednesday.
