Reported Sheffield Wednesday target Gavin Gunning has quit Dundee United after his Tannadice contract expired, the Tayside club have announced.
The 23-year-old Irishman is one of five first-team players who will not rejoin Jackie McNamara's squad after the summer.
The left-back has been linked with a move to Hillsborough.
