Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has signed a new two-year deal with the club, extending his stay until 2016.
The Welshman had a positive loan spell at Cambridge United earlier in the season and earned himself a starting spot when he returned to Highbury.
Maxwell kept 11 clean sheets in 22 matches, playing a key part in the Cod Army's Sky Bet League Two play-off win against Burton in May.
"It was such a relief to get it sorted," Maxwell told the club website. "I can look forward to the last couple of weeks of summer and really prepare for next season.
"When I'm off I can't sit still. I can't wait now to get back with the lads.
"I always wanted to stay. I went on holiday literally the day after the season finished and since then I've been with family and stuff so it's only in the last few days I've been able to get myself sorted.
"The gaffer, the chairman and the club have been very good to me."
