Port Vale midfielder Chris Lines has signed a new contract with the club.
Lines had been linked with a handful of clubs, including Vale's Sky Bet League One rivals Bradford and Coventry, but has put pen to paper on a two-year deal to remain at Vale Park.
The 28-year-old has become a fans' favourite since joining Vale on a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday last summer.
He made 40 appearances for Micky Adams' men during his maiden season with the club.
