After a thrilling 2012/13 League 1 season in which he scored 23 goals in 39 appearances on the way to helping Yeovil Town to promotion to the Sky Bet Championship, many would have been surprised to see striker Paddy Madden in Sky Bet League 2 last term.
The Irishman failed to score in any of his 11 outings in the Glovers' maiden voyage in the Sky Bet Championship and was subsequently transfer-listed, eventually being sold to Scunthorpe United in the January transfer window.
Twenty-one appearances and five goals later, Madden was collecting a League 2 runners-up medal in a Scunthorpe shirt, returning him to Sky Bet League 1, where he was the prolific talisman for the surprise promotion-package of Gary Johnson's Yeovil.
Big things will be expected of the 24-year-old in 2014/15 and he will be likely to lead the line for the Iron after the departure of Sam Winnall, their top scorer from last term, to Barnsley.
Madden will certainly be one to watch during this coming season and he is aiming to find his feet again in Sky Bet League 1, replicating his form from 2012/13.
