In three years with York City, Lanre Oyebanjo won the FA Trophy, the Conference Play-Offs and helped the club become established in Sky Bet League 2, but he rejected a new contract at Bootham Crescent in favour of a move to Crawley Town.
The 24-year-old is a full-back who likes to get forward and he played a pivotal role for the Minstermen in Sky Bet League 2 last term, helping them get into the Play-Offs where they lost at the Semi-Final stage to Fleetwood Town.
The former Histon man, who also has a degree in mathematics and finance, will add pace and athleticism to the Red Devils' back line as they aim to improve on their 14th-placed finish last term.
While Oyebanjo will more than likely play on the right side of the Crawley defence, the left-back spot looks set to be filled by Ryan Dickson, who signed for John Gregory's side from Colchester United.
Gregory has also secured the services of experienced goalkeeper Brian Jensen, defender Sonny Bradley, midfielders Jimmy Smith and Conor Henderson, and strikers Gavin Tomlin, Izale McLeod and Matt Harrold.
