Prolific Football League goalscorer Adam Le Fondre has swapped Reading for Cardiff City ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.
Le Fondre has hit double figures in each of his last eight seasons and Cardiff wasted no time in securing the services of the striker on a three-year contract, wrapping the deal up at the end of May for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old front man scored 15 goals for Reading last season, including hat-tricks against both Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool. In total he scored 41 goals in 109 matches for the Royals, who he joined from Rotherham United in August 2011.
Le Fondre's scoring record speaks for itself - netting 161 times in 400 career appearances - and the Bluebirds, who were relegated from the Premier League last term, will be a goalscoring force in the Sky Bet Championship with him leading the line.
Le Fondre won't be alone in spearheading Cardiff's attack as Federico Macheda has also signed for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men following his release from Manchester United.
The Italian front man had a fruitful spell with Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship towards the end of 2013/14, netting 10 goals in 18 appearances.
